This CAT5e cable is top-notch. This doesn't twist and knot like the product I tested from a national retail chain, and when you put it against a wall, it easily navigates turns and corners. It also cost a great deal less. I'm overjoyed! CAT5e is a good option if you're looking for Ethernet cable for your home. Yes, CAT6 is superior, but it's likely that your home network doesn't need or have the bandwidth for it. Currently, most residential networks won't even approach CAT5e's constraints, much less require CAT6. Unless you're wiring an office building, save some money and use CAT5e instead.

I discovered that there was occasionally an enormous latency when streaming videos over WiFi to my smart TV. I made the decision to directly connect the Ethernet connection on the TV to the router. I appreciate that they come in a range of colors. I use red for WAN, blue for PCs, and purple for the office printer. It's helpful to color-code your patch cables so that, in the event of a main switch failure, I can direct someone to simply connect all the blue cables to the backup switch underneath the main switch. Cable management and organizing strategies can be improved by color-coding your cords.
